RATP Dev London – Electric Bus Infrastructure at Fulwell and Harrow

Janus Architecture have been providing support services and expert advise to RATP Dev London for the upgrades to two of their West London facilities. Both projects have had EsN (E Smart Networks) as the Principal Contractor to deliver the onsite works and off site connection.

Harrow has introduced 38 no. double-deck and 24 single-deck ADL/BYD buses. The infrastructure has included a new HV connection with 2no. on site transformers and low voltage panels feeding a series of BYD AC chargers. A couple of DC rapid chargers have been integrated into the solution to give operational flexibility.

Fulwell has introduced 54 no. double-deck and 21 single-deck ADL/BYD buses. The new infrastructure also included a new HV connection to the grid and 1no. 3MW transformer, low voltage panels and a series of BYD AC chargers. Similarly, a couple of DC rapid chargers have been integrated into the solution to give operational flexibility.

The projects are due to go live during November 2021 with a phased introduction of the new fleet of buses.
