Planning permission granted to kick-off the electrification of Lawrence Hill
October saw planning permission granted for a new modular office building upon the existing First Bus Lawrence Hill Bus Depot in Bristol. The first step in a redevelopment project that will see over 80 new EV chargers installed on the site.
This new office building will house both office staff and driver accommodation. The building is being constructed offsite to reduce disruption to the depot.
Janus Architecture has also gained planning permission for the proposed electrification of the site with over 80 new charge points. The majority of these will supply overhead gantries which will be able to charge 80 new Buses in late 2026.
