The London Hydrogen bus maintenance depot is a flagship project for Transport for London (TfL) located to the North of the Queen Elizabeth Park.
This innovative project involved full architectural services from Janus Architecture for the design and implementation of the UK’s first purpose-built combined hydrogen bus fuelling and maintenance depot, including associated offices and external hydrogen storage compound.
The building is designed to be heated and cooled via ground source heat pumps, to be fully compliant with HSE and DSEAR regulations and to be of an intrinsically safe design.
