The project converted the existing depot facilities to provide “intrinsically safe” maintenance bays located within the depot workshop. The enclosure also includes full hydrogen leak detection linked to roof mounted extract fans. Phase one included 20 hydrogen buses with a further 120 buses to be housed on the site to follow.
